After serving at the Vienna State Opera for four years, collaborating with directors such as del Monaco, Schaaf, Kupfer or Berghaus, Bruno has brought on stage more than 80 opera titles since 1993.
He has been invited to many houses such as Staatsoper Hamburg, Salzburg Landestheater, Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, Liceu in Barcelona, the National Theatre in Prag, Oviedo, Caracas,Teatro Solis in Monteviedo/ Uruguay, Seoul Arts Center, the Vest Norges Opera in Bergen, Music Festival Budapest, Avignon, Aachen, Bonn, Maastricht, Ashkelon/Israel, Manaus/ Brasil, the National Opera in Athens and the Florida Grand Opera in Miami.
In addition to many titles from the standard repertoire, he has also shown a prediliction for unusual, rare and contemporary works, such as Dirk d'Ase's Einstein (World Premiere in Ulm), Gomes' Condor, Wolf-Ferari's Sly, Offenbach's Rheinnixen (selected "discovery of the year" by the Opernwelt magazine), or Adriana Hölzky's Countdown.
Recent and upcoming works include Rigoletto at the opera in Bonn and at the opera house in Mexico-City, as well as Macbeth in Brno, Tosca in Mumbai/India, Zauberflöte in Maastricht and Don Carlo in Magdeburg.
