
The Ukrainian soprano Oksana Kramareva was a prize winner in several international singing competitions, including the 2nd prize at Plácido Domingo’s world opera competition OPERALIA 2008 in Québec and the 1st prize at the International competition of Elena Obraztsova in St. Petersburg in 2005. Currantly Oksana is a member of the National Opera of Ukraine in Kiev, where her roles have included Tatyana (Eugen Onegin ), Lisa (Pique Dame) Leonora (Il Trovatore), the title roles in Aida and Norma. She also sang Yaroslavna in Borodin’s Prince Igor.
Guest engagements have taken her to Germany, Spain, Japan, Portugal, Russia and Canada singing roles such as Leonora, Aida , Yarolslavna among others. In 2008 Oksana appeared in Verdi's Requiem and as Lisa in Pique Dame in Marinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg.
Discovered recently by maestro Stefan Soltesz, Oksana has performed Yaroslavna (Prince Igor), Amelia (Un ballo in maschera) and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony at the Aalto theatre in Essen. Oksana's other recent engagements include Aida in Québec and Lisbon and she is looking forwards to sing Cio Cio San (role debut) and Aida in Essen and Aida at the Flanders Opera in Antwerp.
