began his musical studies in piano at the music conservatory in Freiburg, Germany. In 1990/1991 he studied at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester New York where he was awarded a grant from the Eastman School and the Rosenberg-Foundation. In 1992 he received a French Government scholarship to continue his studies at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, where he made his home for the following 12 years.

He has played recitals in various European countries and the US, performing as a soloist with various orchestras including the Bamberg Symphony. Specialising in seldom heard repertoire, he has been broadcast on radio and recorded albums, among them; Marcel Dupré’s duos for piano and organ and Jehan Alain’s piano works with the support of the composer’s sister Marie-Claire Alain.

In addition to his performing career, he has also held teaching positions at the State Music Conservatory in Freiburg, the Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen and the Ludwigsburg University of Education.

From 1997 to 1999 he worked as European representative of the New York based PR company Hemsing Associates, whose clients include the Juilliard Quartet and Alfred Brendel. In 1999, he founded his company Mödersheim Artists Management in Paris prior to becoming Managing Director for Opera-Connection.
